Warnemünde is an old picturesque fishing village with a maritime flair and magical coastal scenery with wide sandy beaches and steep cliffs. It is located on the mouth of the Warnow River and is a gateway to the Baltic Sea. Warnemünde is part of the old Hanseatic city of Rostock. The historic centre of Rostock breaths Hanseatic flair with its gothic brick architecture, city wall and typical gabled houses.

The symposium will be held at 'Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne', a 4-star seaside resort and conference centre.
