Guide for Authors

Papers are organized into five thematic panel sessions related to the depletion and rebuilding of fish stocks. Each session will be introduced by an invited keynote speaker and has an allocated chair. All scientific sessions will take place in plenary in the main conference room on the premises of the ‘Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne’. A complementary poster session will be held in the evening of Wednesday, 4 November. The symposium will be concluded by a panel discussion.

Manuscript submission

Selected manuscripts from the symposium will be peer reviewed and published in a special issue of the ICES Journal of Marine Science (IJMS) with guest editor Niels Daan. All manuscripts should be submitted electronically in MS Word and/or Excel format.

Manuscripts can be submitted by sending them to symposium@uncover.eu or by handing a memory stick, CD or disk to a member of the conference team.
The deadline for submission of manuscripts is 3 November 2009.

Award for best presentation

Dorothy J. Dankel Institute of Marine Research, Norway won the prize for the best presentation.
